Internal gps lacks accuracy

This is a great app, very configurable. However, when using the internal gps on Android, it only produces two nmea message types, and never gets beyond 2d fixes, which some applications need to work well. While it does stay running in the background, it appears to stall and give inconsistent readings at times.
