This app used to be very useful, but now every time I access it, it reloads the entire app and resets to give me ALL push notifications. It also won’t clear any notifications after being checked. Very irritating.
I like using the app as a calendar, but aside from that, I’m not a big fan. When I’m on the actual webpage looking at analytics/reports, there’s a pop-up suggesting I use the app. Ironically, I cannot access these features (reports) on the app. It would be nice if the app had more capabilities.
Even with updates to add billing features the insurance payment system is severely lacking both in the site and the app. Confusing and unintuitive. On the app there are no insurance payment features - marking things paid or received. Same on the site. If an ACH comes through, which is hit or miss, it isn’t marked paid unless it’s the exact amount you have listed as your fee. There’s no way to mark a session paid manually and when I add a insurance payment manually it still doesn’t change to paid half the time. So all the reports and analytics are inaccurate on the site as well. Very frustrating. TherapyNotes is a good alternative.
The app has been helpful however, there’s still a lot let to be desired in my opinion. I am able to write a note, and get some basic functions and billing completed however, the in depth the task gets I find myself moving to the desktop. Perhaps, that’s the purpose yet, I feel like there are some reasonable things I should be able to do with the app. Overall, I still find the app worthwhile to download and use in sessions. I look forward to seeing how the app develops.
Showing notifications of reminders I have read but want to keep in my inbox is a problem. They need to change it back to the way it used to be. and it keeps logging out and I have to reset up passwords frequently.
