Repeatedly locks up with an error message saying it’s no longer connected despite not having connection problems, days it will restart after connection is reestablished yet never does, causing me to have to restart the application, now my complete Flickr account is screwed with 50,000 photos consisting of up to 10 copies of each photo.. I want a refund, this is garbage, do NOT BUY!!!!!!! I filed for a refund and all the Google site said was write a review, this is BS and another reason I’ve gone over to Android.
Perhaps they have not updated the software to keep up with changes to Flickr? Don’t waste your money.
I loved knowing that all my imported photos in iPhoto were automatically backed up to Flickr, so if I ever lost my laptop / backup drives, I’d be able to safely re-import my photos again. Unfortunately, as software advances, some things don’t keep up. I’ve upgraded to Yosemite (and soon El Capitan), and with that, iPhoto has been upgraded to Photos, and this app no longer works with the new Photos. I’m going to switch to Flickr’s native Android uploader, but I doubt it will be able to detect the duplicates that I’ve already uploaded, which means I’ll need to upload all 60GB again. (Edit: actually no! Flickr’s native app did indeed detect all photos I have already uploaded with this app! Fantastic!) If you’re using iPhoto still, this program is fantastic!
This app does everything it says it will. It functions just fine. However, I found out after I purchased it, that flickr now has an upload client that does everything this app does. And its free.
How about an upgrade so that it can work with Android OS new Photos App?!?!
