Downloaded this to preview it for a family member who has partial hearing loss. I’m not sure if the App Store has the correct version but what I received is totally unusable. The sounds are garbled and strange and normal voices sound like they are being spoken by a robot.
I’ve relied on this app and enjoyed for years - then my Android updated to IOS 16.1.1 overnight and poof,… the use of the internal phone mic is gone. I checked the mic using voice memo and yes it does work fine. Something about the 16.1.1 update has caused a disconnect. When will this bug be fixed?

Ear Machine fails using air pods seems you have to use wired Google Earbuds useless application given this limitation
I opened this app with a volume of 1, I plugged in headphones because it needs headphones to work, and I slightly increased the loudness and the app automatically turned my Mobile volume to 100% and it gave me a heart attack
