There are 14 Instrument Rating questions, none of which are especially pertinent to a true oral or practical exam in New England (according to my flight instructor and DPE). The CFI section has 173 oral questions and answers. The first one says How is each blade attached to the fully articulated rotor hub? (FAA-H-8083-21) Hide Answer Answer Each rotor blade is attached to the rotor hub by a horizontal hinge, called the flapping hinge, which permits the blades to flap up and down. Each blade can move up and down independently of the others. The flapping hinge may be located at varying distances from the rotor hub, and there may be more than one. Seems they missed the lead/lag hinge and the feather axis- or so my DPE told me. I'd rather have my ten dollars back and spend time reviewing source material. This review is intended for helicopter pilots wishing to finish their instrument rating and become a CFII
As you read the first 10 questions you will see why I say 3 stars. Sloppy input of information into this app.
Would give 5 stars if you could do random questions as opposed to all in order.
