I like their tools like the food & medication lookups, but I have some big qualms: 1) their community forum is garbage; the UX is so bad it’s unusable; 2) without exaggeration, every third “fun fact” or article on the home feed is about depression. Yes, it’s important to understand the signs of PPD but it’s seriously excessive; 3) there are so many ads for cord banking. 4) They also collect a ton of personal data. Overall, just download What To Expect instead.
I really like this app but in a short year and 1/2 the app followed the wave of politics and every “woman” “women” was replaced with folks. Pregnant folks. I’m curious who we are pleasing here.
I got a new phone and now when I try to log in to the app it keeps telling me my email and password don’t work. I’ve changed my password 6 times and it will not let me log in.
So refreshing that it’s free and customizable! Absolutely awesome. Thank you.
This app does its job. However, I’ve had two miscarriages and given how common pregnancy loss is, I’d hope and expect an app like this to do less emotional manipulation, for lack of a better term (and that admittedly sounds too aggressive). When I check my fetus’s growth, for example, it says it’s the size of a raspberry, but “you can be sure that baby will get bigger!” After a pregnancy loss, you can’t be sure. Reading this just sends me into a dark place that could be avoided. Why not just say the facts and let us feel how we want with the information? I only use the app to track data because of it.
