I use this app to help me understand the art market, what is trending, and to enjoy art without having to travel to galleries. The user experience is intuitive and Artsy gives me excellent recommendations. I would strongly recommend!
I am a professional painter and I could not figure out how to sell my art on this app . I’ll just stick to selling it myself . I will sell 4 paintings by 10 am tomorrow with out artsy.
I tried a test run on the live auction. I placed ONE BID ONLY with a cap that somehow miraculously got raised without my consent. When I contested my “win” they told me I made two more bids after the original. This is a blatant lie and they are scammers who blame their victims.
Love the Artsy.net platform - it provides such an enjoyable way to look at art, from young emerging artists to old masters. The images are always of pristine quality, and it is wonderful to be able to zoom in for a closer look (as one would in person at a gallery or a museum). Especially during the pandemic, Artsy.net is an invaluable resource for anyone who wants to stay connected to the art world.
This is an amazing app, i use it basically everyday, however, these couple of days the application became really laggy, and the artists’ pages are empty when you enter them. That’s something and the other thing is that i don’t see the new works that have been added by my favourite artists? there are no notifications like what was on Android, or not even showing on my homepage, multiple artworks have been sold without me knowing about them because i relied on Artsy to display them on my homepage and unfortunately sometimes it displays a work from an artists i follow when it already has been sold. Other than that it’s tremendous. Thank you very much.
