Wellhub (Gympass) for Android

At glance it seems like you have access to a lot of gyms. You don’t. Most of them are closed or don’t even know what Gympass is. There’s no customer service to help you get access. Also, as soon as you sign up they keep ratcheting up the cost. In less than a year my Silver membership has gone up by $10 a month twice (~30% monthly increase).

I got gym pass to try out a couple gyms. The registration for each gym and then checking in was a learning curve but once you got it down it was no issue. The turn off was Gympass kept raising the price and then moved gyms even further up in membership plan. The gym I was going to was costing me $80/month through gym pass silver. They then raised the price of silver to $105 which i was a big jump but i was willing to swallow but then they moved that gym to require gold at $200/month. $80 to $200 in a period of 3 months? Ridiculous.

They got me to sign up through work by including my current CrossFit Gym on the silver plan ($79.90) which would allowed me to save money and have other gym options. Then in a month they removed my gym from there and are now forcing me to upgrade to the gold plan ($139.90) if I want to go there, forcing me not only to pay almost double but to also pay more than I used to pay for my CrossFit gym alone. I do NOT recommend this to anyone as they are not trustworthy!

The app always crashes and you have to force quit the app!

Si no tenes buena conexión en el centro en el que estás, olvídate de hacer el “check in” y poder ingresar. Con esta nueva plataforma, ahora necesito dos (SI, DOS!) apps para poder entrar a hacer ejercicio….
