I was expecting a horror story, instead I got homework. About as exciting as a bowl of oatmeal.
The game on my laptop is VERY laggy. I have the game on my Mobile and phone and it is not laggy. i do not think it is worth it on a laptop. On modile it is free and less laggy.
I enjoyed my afternoon playing this game and exploring the house. With music cassettes to explore and listen to and of course listening to the story of the two girls, as well as finding clues about who the mother and father were. The main story is about the sister, but you do get to explore rooms and items that belonged to the parents. I was honestly hoping for a much more satisfying ending, and now that I have explored the game and finished it playing it again is very predictable and boring. I think this game definitely could have benefitted from some expansion, making the actual house more expansive as well as the story.
The graphics were awesome. I'm not a gamer, and it was easy to figure out. I loved the storyline too. However it was wayyyy to short for a $7 game.
Not quite sure what all the hype is about. It's a solid game for someone who's not really a gamer. An interactive scavenger hunt while you learn about this family that's strangely absent from their big creepy house. A for arf design and the development of all the assets. But about the same time that you realize that it's simply a walk-through of a fairly linear story the game is wrapping up. Three hours of play time for someone new to games. Less for an experienced gamer. Also, my 2013 Android GPU experienced minor framerate issues on a large external screen.
