Barcode Alarm Clock for Android

Love this app, actually gets me out of bed which keeps me out of bed! Only recommendations are some more traditional ringtones and improvements to the bedtime enforcer, maybe only getting the notification when your phone is unlocked and it noticed movement? I thought I would love it but I have to turn it off after I found myself being startled by a loud notification every time I checked the time in the middle of the night!!!

The alarm is great when it works. I get “background crash” alerts all day long. When o set the alarm before going to sleep, I make sure it says the background mode is activated… still sometimes the alarm fails to sound and if I go into the app later in the day, it will sound then. Really annoying. It’s fantastic when it works, the only way to get me out of bet on time!

For fifteen years I have wanted to get up early in the morning for a quiet time…for fifteen years I have been a slacker and hit the snooze button for an hour (forcing me, once I am up, to run out of the house like it was on fire). No more. This alarm is perfect - scan a barcode, place the barcode somewhere in the house other than beside your bed, and let the fun begin! The alarm can be compared to a three-month-old baby - once it starts crying, you’re getting out of bed to shut it up…like it or not! Once I am out of bed and into my living room (where I keep my bar code), I am usually awake and ready to start my day right. The best alarm clock out there!

If you're like me, you're wanting an alarm that reliably gets you out of bed. I so wanted this app to be it and when it works it is exactly what I wanted. But I get notifications every few hours that the app crashed. It'll happen at night while I'm sleeping, disabling the alarms. Out of the 5 or 6 days of use only two mornings with the alarm actually working happened. Sorry devs, can't use your app if I can't trust it'll actually work.

This app is really good for anyone who doesn’t wake up well to normal alarms, I ah e a hard time with getting used to alarm tones and now the basic ones jsut don’t work for me, and when they do I fall asleep again. The barcode factor does great to get me out of bed, the only thing I wish they’d do is make it so you can turn on your flashlight when scanning the barcode, it turns off every time the alarm goes off.
