The good is that it’s a decent / pretty capable app for free. The bad is, the developers are super slow to approve it for use with new versions of iOS. iOS 15.4.1 was out for over 6 weeks and they never approved it as being compatible. Now 15.5 has been released, and nobody knows how long that might take to get an approval. I would be fine sticking with Fltplan Go, but without without reasonable compatibility timing for iOS updates I’m going to have to go elsewhere.
After updating, the highlight I made on the approach plate will always shift if I leave and come back.
Up the Icy Strait,all the way to Alaska, iced up, IFR @ 11000 ft msl, in a Grand Caravan. Just one of numerous flights planned with this great app over the years. It’s all I need.
Every time I use this to track a flight I am on it stops tracking after 10 minutes or so
Hands down, this is probably the best app Private and Commercial pilots can use for flights in the US or Canada. The only problem I’ve encountered is the inability to delete or turn off the annoying sample routes that randomly show up in the today’s routes tab. Some guidance about this issue would be appreciated, but other than that great job; I wish they had FPL for international flights!
