Much like @FrankWimmer above, I just needed to retrace some sketches and just needed a backlit surface, tried using a white desktop or opening procreate and using the paper surface, but I kept accidentally launching apps or resizing the procreate surface, because I couldn't figure out how to lock those so they wouldn't respond to my touch. Thanks for a simple light table, that does what I need, for a reasonable price. That bad reviewer, down at the bottom, didn't understand the purpose of this app.
It’s as simple as its name “Light Box” Just when I dropped my actually small light box, I find this. I still look at slides and negatives and this pretty much does the job. The person below must’ve never seen a light box before.., or even film…, or a SLR.
Not sure what the dissenting review here was expecting. This is a simple, functional light box, in the traditional sense of the word. In my case, it's exactly what I need and was hoping for. I do illustrations for a web comic and needed to retrace and clean up some one of my illustrations before scanning it and taking into Adobe Illustrator. I've got a great LED light box, but didn't bring it with me today. Checked the App Store in hopes that I could turn my Mobile pro into a bright white surface for tracing. This app did the job beautifully. In addition, I was very happy to discover that I could turn on grid lines as a helpful reference. Even though I didn't expect the grid feature, it would be nice to be able to set the grid to any size desired. Hopefully something that may appear in a future update. Meanwhile, this was a real lifesaver today. If you ever need a surrogate LED light box, I highly recommend this.
