this app is so simple, but at times it's a bit too simple. the simplicity works for many people, and mostly for me as well, but its missing a few features as pointed out in other reviews. one feature that is pretty important is being able to see previous daily calories. i believe the data is deleted at the end of each day, and some people probably like that, but id like for there to be an option to choose whether you want to be able to keep and see your previous daily calories or to leave them to delete at the end of the day. and maybe even be able to set a time you want them to reset, maybe you are eating past midnight and you still are eating for the previous day. . . i would also like to be able to input my weight from days in the past. . .anyways, sometimes simple is great, but this just feels like it needs a bit more.
It’s impossible to incorporate a complicated system into my routine, but this app serves its purpose so easily it feels weird not doing recording my weight in the morning!
I use it to lose weight, maintain weight, and gain weight. I just estimate the calories for everything I eat, and it gives me an easy way to make tracking a habit. If it were loaded with features it would likely not be as useful.
I was just looking for something very simple for basic tracking- I use the labels and home cool so I have accuracy. This app is perfect because of its simplicity. The ads aren’t intrusive but I paid for it to support the dev for making such a streamlined app.
I just needed something to keep track of calories. That's it. The other apps I looked at wanted me to put in info for every single ingredient with confusing calorie options that just isn't doable when you cook at home all the time and eat a large variety of recipes you don't make identically every time. I can do that math myself much quicker on a calculator. If you also don't want all that extra complicated stuff and just need a simple number tracker this is for you!
