After surviving a heart attack that almost killed me I’ve had to learn the difference between heart pain (angina) and a panic attack. The calm down now guided audio is a life saver for helping to focus and calm myself down so I could discern it was just a panic attack and that it would pass.
I listen to rain and thunder every night, and it’s my alarm clock too since you can set a timer. I find this app to be so relaxing, and I’ve learned skills to cope with anxiety.
I bought this app yesterday after reading several positive reviews. I figured what the heck - it’s only 2 bucks. But there really isn’t a variety of different options. The calm down now in the moment stuff when you’re having a panic attack - I feel like you can find better apps to help with this or find some calming/soothing techniques on YouTube. I doubt I’ll even use this app. Waste of my money.

It's funny because I am a trained psychologist and I am often riddled with panic attacks and anxiety attacks. Despite the fact that I know how to help myself I often don't utilize those tools. This guided meditation helps me so much and reminds me that I'm not in harms way and that my body is just having a strong reaction and it's fixable. I think this is an amazing app for anyone who likes to meditate or likes/needs guided support with anxiety attacks.
