There are several other apps to use. I’ve paid $900 and have received nothing but generic auto emails, three cancellations, and two monthly bills. Seems like they are stretching my membership to continue charging monthly; even though I haven’t been able to lock down a single session.
Waited over a month at this point to get my situation fixed. Once I ran out my 5 free sessions with a therapist, I set up my payment method to continue therapy. But it still said i have no credits available, so I can’t book more therapy sessions. I messaged support three times within 3 weeks about this issue and no response. Once I did get a response they said they fixed the issue and closed my ticket without confirming it was fixed. Lowe and behold, the issue is not fixed and I still can’t add credits for sessions. So now I’ve been waiting 2 more weeks after having to make a new support ticket in order to get another response. 5 weeks now and still no therapy for me. Doesn’t seem like they care about me or my mental health at all. I’ll be going to BetterHelp from now on.
Every single time I need to get in contact with customer service I never get a response back. They have no phone number and only allow it to be done online, charging crazy amounts of money for people to do therapy and then if there’s any issues it’s next to impossible to get through to someone. Who has an app for therapy that you can talk live to providers, is supposedly HIPPA compliant, but no customer service to address the issues? First, it was that they said I completed more sessions than I had. I am on EAP through my work and only completed 4/6 sessions and it said I was out of credits and completed all 6. It took me OVER A MONTH to get this resolved when this could have (and should have) been resolved in minutes. I finally finish my EAP with that and have a new EAP code to give for more sessions, that is TIME SENSITIVE, I only have a couple months left to use this EAP and have sent multiple requests to customer service, as has my provider, and NOTHING. This app should be ashamed of themselves. This is supposed to be a safe place to work through psychological issues in our lives and right as you get going problem after problem arises and no customer support ever reaches back on any attempt. All things that could have been quickly resolved with a phone call, but if you aren’t going to have a phone line, you need to have A+ response time to your email tickets and they get lower than an F-. This app acts like your mental health is a joke and to not be taken seriously. I’m about to lose out on my last chances to do therapy because my EAP expires fully on September and have already wasted 2 full months because of this stupid app’s piss pore customer service. I feel like not only do they owe me multiple free sessions for the time I’ve lost that could have been spent doing therapy, but for the sheer lack and disrespect to their clientele. This is 100% unacceptable and you are robbing people. I was so excited to use this app and love the provider I am (was) working with, I really am trying to better myself and can’t because I always run into issues on this app and customer service is non existent. So much for being a “safe space.”
Their therapists and customer support are unhelpful and scam you money. I applied using my insurance and they charged me without asking, and refused to give me a refund even though they charged me for four sessions but I only used one
I signed up to receive psychiatric care an not only has my assigned doctor not responded to me (it’s been two weeks) but the help desk doesn’t seem to wanna help either! (It’s been 5 days since I contacted them with no response) Most likely a scam app now. Don’t trust it at all now.
