Used to be great but with only one resolution available, “small”, since an update a few years ago, everything imports horribly low res. I’m assuming this is just on the free version to get users to upgrade. But it renders it completely useless. Plus, as mentioned, merge down function has been broken for ages. Merging layers from layer opacity adjustment menu deletes bottom layer. You can leave that and flatten, which works, but if you don’t want to flatten all layers you’re out of luck. Dev never responded to email. Oh well. In the trash.
good editor
Hi. This is a great app that I used to use for some photo editing. I just downloaded it on my new phone and I was excited to use it but for some reason every time I add an image, it’s quality becomes very poor. It didn’t do this before. How do I fix it?
This is amazing app. I keep learning more every time I use it! Thanks!
I borderline on 5 or 4 stars because this is almost a perfect graphics editor. For the price, it is the best app I’ve found. I’ve used it to create multiple collages, put fire into my fireplace, create funny picture edits for my kids, and more. Tools available are so much like Photoshop and I can do it all from my Mobile. Things that would make this a perfect score: ability to have more layers (it maxes out somewhere above 20 so who needs 20 separate layers, but I did last week in a massive collage. I tried to work around the layer issue with merge down but it is a quirky merge or I just don’t understand it. Also, the ability to move part of an image seems basic but I can’t figure out how to float the selection and move part of a layer elsewhere or better yet make a new layer out of the selection. A workaround I have is to duplicate the layer and crop it to the piece that I want. Very extremely cool app! Thank you! I needed something with the power of GIMP but on an Mobile and I’ve used this now for 2+ years and love it.
