I bought this after watching Dr Dan on YouTube extoll its virtues for checking your voice pitch but it doesn’t work for me. I’m singing long whole notes (background aahhs for example) and the app doesn’t even come close to the note I’m singing. However when I pluck the same note on my guitar it reads it well. I don’t need another guitar tuner though. Weird. Perhaps some voices have too much nuance. Disappointing after seeing it work with Dr Dan.
This is the perfect tuning app. If you have had lots of music in your past, if you have had music theory or if you just want you instrument to be in tune- perfectly, btw- then this is the app you need. I have one other that works similarly and is specific for a guitar (it shows a green light when it is within a certain range of pitch) but this one is perfect for my ukulele.
Application does not work on an iPod Touch 3rd generation as stated. 3rd generation will not upgrade to iOS 6.1, to which app is limited.
