super glitchy and slow, constantly tells me “connection lost” and heats up my phone much worse than any other games i have downloaded. the game also won’t load without wifi or cellular, which is a huge drawback. two stars for effort EDIT: it’s ridiculous that the responses i’m seeing to so many reviews is “here are our minimal device specifications”, as if the game itself isn’t the issue
The game is fun, however not fun when it crashes repeatedly after 20 of gameplay.
I meet device specification requirements and it’s still a total mess. I am currently stuck at one level due to the crashing every time I beat the level. It likes to wait right up until the last task is completed per level, then crashes around there. I’ve been able to zen my way through it until now - after all, I understand that this is a small team. But with both mobile games crashing on me within minutes, and many others speaking up daily with the same issues, I gotta add my experience to the pool. The side quest mailbox story mode is the absolute worst. Restarting and reinstalling does not help. I don’t know much about iOS. But if this were desktop, I would say the likely issue is some kind of memory leak. The games run hot on my devices, more than other games and apps.
I’m so charmed by the story, characters, and art style of the game!! The gameplay itself is super fun, I could never get into the Candy Crush games like these, but I tried this one and found it so fun!! Not to mention, the music is so whimsical and charming. I find myself humming it along the day! It’s definitely got some bugs and issues, specifically crashing when starting cutscenes (but then goes away when you reboot the game). I can’t wait to see more of it! (P.S., I think bringing the Facebook game, Habitarium, to mobile would be amazing!)
The game is pretty good. It follows your standard match 3 style games and adds in the Neopian content we know and love. Loving seeing new Neopian games out there. The only complaint I have is that the game automatically overrides any audiobook/ music I have going in the background. Even with the game music and sound toggled off it still mutes what I have playing. I’m looking forward to seeing where this game goes.
