I really like the overall game and how it’s played but don’t want to watch an ad over and over to get the things I need. I also would like a way to upgrade the hero for more slots, more dmg, better fire rate, etc overall good game.
While the gameplay is addicting, there’s a lot of shortcomings that bring this game down. Like the other reviews at this time, yes, the game is too far reliant on ads. There’s also an in-game subscription for $10 just to remove ads, where other games give you a cheaper one-time purchase just to remove ads. The only weapon in the game that gets you far is the Sumerus Hammer, and every other weapon pales in comparison to the point where the most optimal build is to stack hammers and rings. The difficulty spikes are unwarranted, seeing as there’s nothing to upgrade your base health, or to increase base stats like cooldowns. You can die on the first wave in later levels because you don’t have the opportunity to level up from defeating enemies. If the other weapons could be more interesting or more damaging when levelled like (but not exactly) the Sumerus Hammer, the difficulty spikes would force you to take a different approach than having to rely on the hammer all the time. The lack of other systems make the subscription card pointless. The loot to upgrade weapons don’t do anything. Gems don’t serve any other purpose but loot chests. I’m currently at level 22 at this time of writing, where not even two starting hammers can kill an enemy— it’s the only weapon I have that has a base damage stat of 434. Everything else is double digits.
It’s a fun gameplay loop, with many pros; -Weapons: Each has their own unique style needed to be used in success -Bag: A fun concept of ‘Can I fit this?’ and ‘I’ll make it work’. However; I also feel that there are a few things that I can deem unnecessary -ADS: Yes; I understand that it is a primary source, but putting baggage space behind it? It’s not something I can follow. I understand the ADS for other places, but for extra bag space during rounds seems unfair and not fun to have happen -Lack of storyline: A story could make it better; albeit it doesn’t seem like the game to have one -Unlocks: I got really confused when I got cards for weapons I DIDN’T OWN. Not saying it’s bad; you get the weapons in due time, but why are you able to get cards for weapons you can’t access? Hope my thoughts and notes I’ve made on the game will help it in the future Best of luck! :)
Game become comically unbalanced after chapter 7, unless you use poison with splash effect you have zero chance of winning. Another sad copycat game with greedy devs who want your money👎🏼👎🏼
