Disaster!

Bought this on Amazon for Prime Days. Only heard good things about August. The “only 10 minutes” to get up and running took over an hour. I got the 4th gen WiFi Smart lock. It is now installed and locks using the app, which is great. But won’t unlock using the app. Calibration will not complete, tried at least 10 times. Just stalls on the final screen. Took me 15 minutes to try and find the lock on the app. You have to tap on what looks like a header that has your home name. I am probably going to return it. I am bummed. But I can’t believe how difficult it has been.

Great First Impression

I got my first August lock back in 2014. Man, this product has come a long way! There were issues with the original lock and app versions that are nowhere to be found now. The software is buttery smooth. Auto Unlock has been 100% successful over the past few days. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient upgrade to their everyday life.
