On an 2024 11” Mobile Air (11th edition) the pages don’t display in full (there’s still scrolling) despite the screen being more than large enough to accommodate everything. The screen ratio on an Android is fine though. Would be nice if they spent the time and effort to correct the screen ratio for iPads. Otherwise it has to be said that the image optimization is most welcome - as their pdfs weren’t optimized to load properly for mobile devices. It’s hard to think there is a noob graphic designer on their team that’s messed this up… but this wouldn’t be the first time a huge corporate force manages to miss the most basic of things.
Free faction rules. Simple, easy to update. Offline friendly. Don’t change it!
It does exactly what it says, and best of all? It’s FREE. Anyone rating this below a 5 needs a privilege check. You can export the pdfs if you don’t like the app, it’s a feature. Stop complaining about features they didn’t say they’d add. Let them make the game, not an app.
Basic? Yes. But I appreciate the fact this information is free, centralized, and relatively well organized. I’m not having to pay for the app, buy a goofy book to get a QR code to see my faction’s info, or being forced to buy physical datacards, and I appreciate that. There are definitely some QoL things that I’d like to see (namely being able to “favorite” a team so it shows up at the top); overall, though, GW deserves kudos for making an effort here. As long as we see some continuous improvement of the app, like we do with the 40K app, and it remains free, I don’t think there is much room to complain.
This app has less features then Wahapedia, this is a “professional” app it should have more stuff. I hope it’s improved later, but I don’t have hope for this.
