Radar Omega for Android

A storm rolled through my area tonight and I got about 50 notifications. Maybe it’s because I was ignoring them that the app is so insistent on letting me know storm was coming.

Says it’s live radar but not sure where it’s pulling data from as it shows rain where I’m located and it’s dry as a bone!

This time of year poses weather concerns. This app will is accurate and extremely useful

Installed on Mobile and on Android. Blank screen with my location indicated. That’s it. Tried other layers without success. Aeronautical maps will turn on in those layers, but there’s no weather info on top of them. Street map layer sometimes shows faint lines where streets might be, but no names for reference. And again, no weather information. Honestly, I got it during the free offer time, so I can just delete it without annoyance. Had I paid for it, especially at the “normal price” I’d be truly bugged.

I got this off Free Apps of the Day. This first day I had the same issue like another review. “The color themes did nothing” I sent an email and pretty quickly a response came and things were fixed. I wish there was a little more color to the entire app, seems very blah. Also needs more text (ex. Forecast-it shows hi/lo but no wording of it’s cloudy with a chance of rain, or sunny skies and 95 degrees). I have only used it for a couple of days so still checking to see accuracy. Living in South Texas seems that quite a bit of the weather apps in San Antonio differ greatly (I use at least 2-3 and each one is almost always different). I will try this for a month and see what happens & hopefully the developer reads this and can make some small changes.
