This is literally just like nearly ever other civilizations-style game out there for mobile platforms. It tries to fake being like the original AoE games, but really falls short. Just another money-grabbing spin-off. Don’t waste your time or money.
I played the computer game as a kid and this isn’t even close to the same game. It’s a copy and paste of the walking dead game. That sucked too
Boring, just a copy of every other kingdom building game.
It may be called Age of Empires but the only thing it has from the AoE games we know it’s a couple of sounds and some buildings look alike, other than that it as nothing to do with AoE. It’s just another pay to win game, they just used the name to get you to download it. Played it til lvl 13 town center, It might be a decent game but there are so many games like this and it’s not what I’m looking for. Bottom line is: if you are looking to play age of empires don’t download this game but if you like the pay to win online games then you may want to give it a try.
As a huge fan of the Age of Empires franchise, this is definitely not it. It seems like the franchise name was used in order to trick long time favorites to play this game. Unfortunately, this game is like other paywall strategy based games with tons of micro transactions. I’d rather pay a $60 game and call it a day than having to spend small transactions that would end up being hundreds overtime. Again, this isn’t it and it’s a huge disappointment and disservice for the franchise.
