This game is very different from a lot of other puzzle games due to the level concept of ‘start with everything and end with nothing’ although it is a great game it lacks that polish that it really needs to have. The boss fights are where you really can start to notice this because they are not boss fights they feel like just another level not a end of area challenge. And in the levels themselves there is no cost for failure to fix this I’m not suggesting that you have to go back to the beginning of the game or stage, I’m suggesting that if you fail, let’s say five times you go back to the previous level and so on. If you take these things into consideration you might be able to make it perfect.
I’m a math enthusiast, so I got this game when it went on sale, and I enjoyed it a lot! In the earlier levels, it’s about using your items in the right order and on the right enemies to cancel everything out, using the principles of a + (-a) = 0 and -1a = -a. Then, you start throwing away items that would otherwise keep you from that goal, and storing items to use later. It’s a great game with a fun concept! My only complaint is that the game felt a bit too easy, and also a bit too short. Maybe it’s just me, but even in the levels where I got stuck, it wasn’t for too long. Maybe I was stuck for three to five minutes on some of the more difficult levels. I’m pretty sure I finished the entire game in less than half an hour, if that. I’m not sure if it’s a bug, but when you go back to the level select, you can’t re-enter the level you were just at. You’re only able to enter the farthest level you’ve cleared, meaning that sometimes I’d quit by accident and have to redo the previous level to get back to where I was. Overall, it’s a very fun game that uses basic addition and puzzle solving skills, but I would definitely love to see some more challenging levels.
I don’t like puzzle games much like this. I was expecting something else. Though it was prob unrealistic. I like chess. This felt like sudoku I think. There was knowing what a item did to beat a monster. That’s all
Had no idea how to play No instructions No goal Completely pointless Great concept Like old school graphics Your onto something fir sure Deleted after 1 min trying To figure out
Great gameplay that’s easy to pickup and gradually challenging. I binged all the way through and very likely to play it again. No ads, no junk, just solid game. I hope more levels are added!
