MOONVALE - Detective Story for Android

I LOVED Duskwood. I’ve played it so many times. I paid like $10 for all the extras and it was well worth it. I figured Moonvale would be similar but instead, if you want the full experience you have to pay a TON of money. It’s just not worth it. Not going to lie, I’ve been waiting for this game for a long time and I’m super disappointed. Update: I tried to play without paying money and it’s sooo not worth the time. Some parts make NO SENSE if you can’t see the extras (videos, pictures, etc.) If you have a ton of money to spend, I’m sure the story line would be great… guess I’ll never know.

UPDATE: uninstalled then look no further than Moonvale. If you want to breathe - pay gems. If you want to simply review a piece of media - gems. Do you want some quality art with unique and creative style? It’s cheaper to use DALL•E 3 or Chat GPT. Every piece of art is AI generated. How does that improve the lives of artists? Are you really that cheap? This vending machine of an app pales in comparison to Duskwood. Laughably dissimilar. Just go back to Duskwood.

So, I enjoyed Duskwood. I paid the one time price for that game and enjoyed the story. This? I’m so disappointed! The story seems fine. Similar but fine… but I’ve already spent three times as much money as I spent on the whole of Duskwood in a single chapter! Please don’t be such a money grubber. Whales don’t want to read stories like this. It’s just us normal people over here. I would support you and advocate for you and your art but this is too much.

I’ve played Duskwood all the way through at least 3 times and paid for the multimedia pack (7.99 USD) twice after I broke a phone and wanted to play again. This new game offers Duskwood Veterans (loyal fans and customers) a one time deal for 125 gems, 250 coins and 5 hearts for 15.99. So this is nearly double the price of the first game’s multimedia pack (which unlocked ALL paid choices) and will only buy you 5 paid answers. That’s simply a shameful money grab. I truly don’t even want to play this game now, it’s sad.

Let’s say if you were to play the first chapter after playing through it once. What’s stopping you from collecting gems from the daily missions till the next chapter is out? Or to even do so before beating the first chapter to begin with. Sure you must have patience but it’s not that hard to wait let’s be real.
