This app is pretty good, but it doesn’t seem to update regularly with the grooming status. I often see social media posts with grooming updates from the clubs that are not reflected on the app. The colors that were chosen to indicate grooming status are not very clear at all, and some of them, barely even show up due to low contrast with the background app. I also don’t understand why there are two options for gas, lodging, parking, etc. Overall, though, pretty good and clearly shows which trails are open or closed. Condition, not so much.
I always enjoy using the VAST app. It’s easy to use, accurate and great for planning rides. Thank you VAST.
Maps is blurry but if you know the trail numbers you can navigate. I’m guessing it gets clearly if you pay. Use to be a good app
Very slow trail updates and seems like people in charge of updating app don’t know how. Not hating. Just our only source of knowing if trails are open. Other than facebook which is also considerably slow. It’s only the coolest thing Vermont has to offer let’s do better. Also people plan trips around trail conditions
Just downloaded and checked out most of the features. One key feature missing is a layer to show roads - especially needed in the event of a breakdown or emergency.
