I was always a Bookworm Adventures fan and bought Letter Quest on Steam a year or so ago. I really enjoy the game. I was pleased to see it available for iOS as well. Now I can take it with me wherever I go.
I’ve been looking for a game like bookworm adventures, but didn’t find a comparable one until now. Unfortunately the game is a bit old and as such has not been updated in 3 years at the time of my review. I hope that changes, the only reason for the 4 stars is because the game’s resolution is wonky, it does not take up my full screen, there is a black bar on the right and bottom of the screen. I’ve tried it on a different generation Android, same issue. Otherwise, great game.
We used to have a similar PC game called Bookworm Adventures and this is the only app that comes close to that. So fun and so cute; challenging enough for adults, simple enough for children. We use this app in our homeschool routine and the kids love it. I do too. Wish they’d come back online and reintroduce ads for gems and more levels. Great game!
I just purchased this game today to give it a whirl. Took the advice the developers made about upgrading health. It doesn’t help. Got to level 10 and it didn’t matter what words I made, there was no damage done to the enemy so I kept losing. Not worth it.
I play this OTG all of the time. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been updated to match the Nintendo Switch version that I love dearly. This is one game, even after nearly a decade, I still return to and can enjoy without fail.
