I’ve tried absolutely everything and this game will not load in. Reinstalled several times and have tried launching over and over again. Gets to 100% entering battlefield and then just gets stuck indefinitely. I’ve waited up to 30 minutes for it to launch and no dice. What is going on with this game and my phone.
Add the adeptus mechanicus as a faction, maybe also astara militarum
At the very beginning. Very little explanation. Very little new cards. Some commanders are broken. Not worth spending money in. Rather play magic the gathering or another card type game. This was not appetizing at all. Deleted after 30 min.
This game is so gimmicky! Most of the games I have played, either against other people or against bots is a joke! They rely on a one turn combo that prevents anyone for really enjoying the game and using any sort of strategy. It really is just get my main card out first turn and then build it up and watch the other person squirm to figure out how to get rid of it. While not trying to die in the next couple of rounds. This game has no strategy at all! And that is sad to say as I love Warhammer 40k. But this game missed the point completely!
I’m an avid Warhammer and CCG fan and was excited to give this one a try. However, it didn’t take very long to realize that the progression was overall slow, plodding, and worst of all, almost totally random. Some of the cards for your faction are simple enough to unlock via gameplay, but therein lies the problem: boring gameplay. Once you’ve played the game long enough you’ll begin to notice a distinct pattern. Play a unit, then hope it lives. If it does, and you’re able to stick another on the next turn and for it to survive as well, then you are very likely to control the game from there on out. Most games are a back and forth of playing cards purely to keep your opponent from gaining a foothold. The inevitable loser of the game is almost always the person that just runs out of gas first. There is no “come back from behind” mechanic of any kind, and this game would surely benefit from it. I gave this game a genuine chance. I played for multiple days for a numbers of hours each day and the pattern played out in nearly every game over and over ad nauseum. I tried different factions, invested into two different premium unlocks ($19.99 each USD), and made significant progression through the Chaos campaign. At the end of it all, due to the repeated pattern of gameplay that is inherent in its design, it simply wasn’t enough to hold my interest. If you’re looking for a Warhammer themed game to just knock around with occasionally, then you will probably enjoy Warpforge to at least some extent. That said, if you’re wanting a satisfying CCG experience in a mobile game, Marvel Snap is probably more up your alley. Happy gaming, everyone.
