I use PhotoStitcher to make a single, tall, JPEG file from overlapping screen captures of a Finder window that I can view on screen only by scrolling. I don't need to specify order of screen captures nor do I have to edit out the Finder window header. Works beautifully.
Have used this several times now...Easy to use and does exact what i want. So much faster than the other expensive program i used to use. Works 98% of what i need!
PhotoStitcher worked amazingly well for me to join two images that were scans of an oversize document. Each image overlapped in the middle, and PhotoStitcher automatically joined them so that there is no seam in the middle. I can't even tell it was scanned in two parts.
This was my go-to app for stitching together photos I took with my drone for great panoramas. But now it crashes every time I try to use it. I contacted support but there has not been a fix yet.
The app does not stitch together two scanned patterns with greater than 60% overlap but still says there needs to be more overlap. There are no settings to change, nothing to indicate how to fix it. It's a waste.
