Same network been playing music with NO problems. This thing can’t make it through a song and the interface is not simple and easy as it should be similar to every other mainstream app out there. Greats DAC. Phenomenal.
I use this app to stream music from my network drive to the PS Audio DirectStream Junior DAC Bridge. When the Bridge and the Android are connected to the same network, the app works well and is reliable. The app displays cover art when track plays and in the folder if the cover art jpg is named “cover” as a file inside the folder on the network drive. I appreciate that ConversDigital continues to update the app and is not a “fly by night” developer like those for other apps. An improvement would be the ability to remove devices and local servers from the Library and Play To lists. This option is available to remove “internet music” services I don’t use and should be extended to deselect local servers and devices I don’t use with mControl.
The apps works, sometimes. I have a PS Audio Perfectwave Mk2 DAC with Bridge II network. This is the primary app provided by the manufacturer to operate the system. The connection to Tidal drops off randomly between songs. When switching tracks with different resolution, you get loud static pop from the speaker unless you disable Native mode on the DAC and lock into a single frequency. The apps also drains battery on my mobile device, both Mobile and Android. Very disappointed. Com’pn PS Audio, get your act together. You keep pushing high end hardware, but it’s bugs like this that makes the user experience an absolute nightmare.
This free app does a good job streaming from online digital music sources.
I own a perfect wave dac with bridge ll from ps audio. I use mconnect controller on my Android 11, to manipulate tidal streaming service. I called ps audio, thinking something was wrong with it. What I am experiencing seems to be happening to other users as well. Difficult to get the controller to start playing a track. And not being able to have more than one track played without manually selecting the following track to play. What good is this, hope you correct this issue
