Daylight BASIC for Android

A free, simple sunrise/sunset app that allows you to enter multiple locations rather than just using your “current location.” Well done!

This app is 100% useless unless you turn on location services. There's no method for manually entering a location. As I have no desire to share my location with whomever submitted this app, it's being deleted after the review.

I wish I could say this is an awesome app. But since the alarm only goes off once, I can't. I have the alarm set for sunset ever night and sunrise every morning. It will alerts you once, then never again until you open app then open the settings. Now developers put this latest update out. I downloaded the update and the sunset alert and the sunrise alert went off once. That's it. Never went off again. Haven't opened the app since the update. I set the alarms so I don't have to open the app everyday. I only use it now when I'm interested in it. Four years having this app and developers still can't fix alarm in that time. Very disappointed. 🙁 I, at one time, even bought the paid app, and it was worse than the free app. You could set the alarms, set the sounds that you want the alarms to play, but in the notification area in apples settings, there was no option for playing sounds. So alerts in the paid program was absolutely useless. I complained to Google, and they got me my money back.

I was looking for an app that would simply tell me how much longer today is than yesterday. (I love the feeling that as the days get longer, spring is closer.) This app does that clearly and easily. Onlyy request would be to have the option to show it in minutes and seconds, not just minutes, for more accuracy.

Does just what I wanted. Very happy with this app.
