i do not know what happened, it used to do a great job of scanning a series of photos and convert them in to a pdf with photo over text with out a hiccup. now it will not complete the job the app just exit after it is done scanning photo. i tried un/reinstalling still will not work will do one photo at a time but that is not the reason i need the app
Absolutely well done …. I recently created a OCR app for my Android device using Android Studio , Java and Firebase soon after purchasing a IOS device I decided to port my app over to IOS but found it to convoluted the only solution was to learn Swift programming from scratch I figure using the information provided by LeadTools OCR project should get me on the right track.. Thx….
I used this app to scan a few pages of documents and convert to text to further edit on my laptop. (For best results, I recommend using lots of light on documents you’re scanning, and using invert and 3D deskew before converting.) Although no app does the job of OCR perfectly, this one gets close enough for further editing, so saving lots of time transcribing docs manually via typing, PLUS it’s free (did I mention that it’s free?)
Non unusable after its update or ios 14. Normally one option for grabbing a photo is Screenshots. Gone. Another was Recents. Gone. Worse: I can’t get text! Before, after extraction, I could select a section of text to copy. Now when I hold done my finger I get a Share option only. But selecting that 1) requires sending it and 2) puts a copy of the IMAGE, not text in the doc. Useless. The functionality is completely gone.
I used “”StitchPics” which sticker screenshots i took, the screenshots were of a digital document sample so the image Is legible and pretty clear, this app cannot pick up on the text present which got my hopes down. Oh well!! Guess I am typing everything from scratch
