Keeps auto shut down and won’t let us upgrade (on a 2013 Mobile). But it seems like an ok app when it works.
Almost 0 use until you pay full price :(
Love this ap overall! Please give the option to print The completed workbook. Almost didn't purchase the full version because the A crosses lower than the dotted line. Also, the V & the Z are said very weird (z is said like ZEY & V is said like WEE. Also the picture for V is vase & it sounds like they say wee-sss). Doesn't hinder my daughter from practicing her letters properly, but hopefully they can fix those few small glitches.
My son has had problems writing his letters since pre-K. I have been looking for apps to help him write correctly (top to bottom and left to right). He really likes this app and chose to continue using it rather than go outside and play with a friend who came knocking on the door. I read the other reviews about the speech impediment of the child who speaks the letters. I didn't even realize that there was speaking on the app, and then I realized sound has been turned off every time we've used it. After listening to the voice, I will make sure that the sound is ALWAYS turned off. That way I don't have to worry about my son picking up poor pronunciation habits.
Great technology for teaching letter writing, but the speech impediment is a deal breaker. My 4-year-old is still learning his pronunciation. After doing this app for a while, he's started dramatically leaving the r's off of his words because he wants to mimic the narrator of his favorite app. Hugely disappointing.
