I love this app so much, its just struggling a little bit. Trying to pull up “my bills” takes forever and the circle just spins and spins. I also wish it had a “friend” feature for people you regularly split the bill with to become friends with. Finally, i wish there was a better recap that can be texted out to everyone to show people their own itemized receipt.
Doesn’t store bills for even a week, so when I went on a trip with friends and we entered bills as we went, by the end of the trip we couldn’t even tally our costs because the app had deleted past bills. Loads slowly, and one of our members couldn’t even ever create an account. Bad design, bad interface, bad app. Stick to Splitwise, it’s so much better.
1. Unable to add tax 2. Additional tip erases when navigating the pages of the bill
If you just want to split everything that’s already as printed, like a restaurant bill, it’s good. If you’re trying to apply a specific tax percentage to figure out how much someone owes you for footing the bill, it’s not worth. You can only change the dollar amount for the tax, not the actual percentage. For example, on the receipt it says the calculated dollar amount over the subtotal. This app asks you to enter that specifically. You can’t change the tax percentage to determine what that amount is in app. You would have to do that separately and comeback to in put it. For each person. At that point you might as well just do the rest of the calculations on your own.
Love the app, but there is an issue on newer phones where part of the view is being covered up by the other phone’s top notch. This makes it difficult to tap buttons
