Don’t know who wrote the positive reviews. I’m getting a terrible frame rate and no audio. The interface is terribly clumsy. Not as promised.
It crashes both when in use (recording) and when it’s running in the background (open but not recording). Useless
i’m not really sure the purpose of this app. i was expecting to record my screen and such because the screenshot showed a picture of a room and the screen itself. I didn’t expect for it to use my front camera and that was it. Theres no other option and i don’t understand the making movies idea like how are you to make a movie just from your front camera? Whats wrong with the photobooth app on your computer to start with? I think this app is a complete waste of $1.99.
… but it’s cheap, not very resource intensive, and it records. Exactly what I was looking for. So far, it hasn’t crashed while I’ve been using it- just when running in the background and not in use. I am using OSX 10.9
Not sure what the negative review is about, but you click "Record/Save" it records, you click it again, it stops. Up pops a "save" box to name your file and decide which folder it is in. THE RECORD BUTTON AND SAVE BUTTON ARE THE SAME BUTTON. Once you save it, it automatically pops up in Quicktime, ready to play. You can change resolution, frames per second, audio quality, select different cameras and Audio sources. You don't watch the video it in this app, you watch it in quicktime or in any other video app. Just click the file and it plays. Not sure how such a simple app could be hard for any body to use. Take about 10 seconds to figure out.
