Terrible workflow, completely non-intuitive. For some reason, doing exactly what I did for episodes 1-7 of a show is producing completely different results for episodes 8-10, and episodes 8-10 aren't getting any tages saved. I miss iDentify. This app doesn't do the job. Furthermore, if you want to do movies, you have to buy a completely separate app.
I bought this and MetaMovie immediately when I discovered them. They’re exactly what I wanted to get tags and artwork for my movies and TV shows.
Similar to another review, I purchased this after iDentify stopped working. This app obiously has had a decent amount of effort put into its development, but not it’s UX. I want to like it, but I have to relearn how to use every time I open it up. Contrary to the developer’s reponse to that other review, iDentify was an order of magnitude easier to use, even when it couldn’t automatically parse the filename (you could just enter an IMDB tag or batch-edit the showname and have it re-search).
Haven’t used it much, but I find it easy to use and works well.
This program is just awesome! I have many tv shows from over the years and this does almost everything for you. Now I can just drop them into iTunes and they are sorted, with pictures, and descriptions. If there were any improvement it would be re-naming the files. The option is included but doesn’t work.
