When at home i always use my traditional wind up metronome, partially because I’m old fashioned, but mainly because the romantic in me feels that there is just something harmonious about practicing with an old 20th century metronome. That said, when touring I typically leave the old clunker at home and then turn to this metronome app for my daily practice runs. It’s a great app metronome and I really like the traditional sounds and feel that it has. Great little guy for sure. Highly recommend.
It’s like my title say’s, for a beginners point of view it’s a great app until I can then get a live physical metronome. This will continue to serve it’s purpose, plus is completely Comfortable.

I love the numerous speed options, the ease of setting them, and the inexorable way the metronome keeps on ticking. I can’t make excuses about being unable to keep up with that insistent ticking. I just set the speed slower and go back to playing.
