The interface for this is not as intuitive as a couple of other cutters I have seen. For example, there is apparently a feature to remove an internal piece of media (music--for me), but it is always grayed out. I can trim off the end, then trim off the beginning and merge whatever I have left (thereby removing the center), but I can neither listen to it not name it before the saving--leaving me to guess if it is ok. There is not visualizer so I can visually crop it at the right place... the only way to know is listen. And if I'm not right--maybe there is a better way--the help is non-existent. So much for buying the most expensive version on the web and hoping it works well. Why is it rated so well?
Notice its called "All Music Converter". but the first screen of its opened windows says "Click to import video files"? It does not work. Most options for format types have a lock on them. Support is canned responses, translated, which do not pertain to the probkem sent in. Refund requests have been denied several times because software here is "as is". Disappointing.
ecellent
I'm an audio producer using ProTools. I normally produce my projects as broadcast WAV files. The version of the software I found on the app store (3.7.25) was having problems reading the WAV files, but that's where great customer service came in. I emailed Tipard. We discussed the problem I was having. They recognized that I had an older version of the software, provided the update for free, and I was up and running in no time. At the advice of a friend, I had tried Audacity -- an audio tool that also handles file conversion. Unfortunately, Audacity is not as straight forward as the All Music Converter, nor is it as fast. And it can't do batch conversions. Version 5.0.8 does exactly what I need and does it quickly. It's well worth the price.
Does what it needs too! Pros - Fast, Swift Cons - Needs a better layout.
