Bought and used for four years. Then the liars went to subscription. Unworthy of the Church of England.
This is an annual subscription, not a Lectionary. And the fee is exorbitant for what it is. If I purchased a book, or just about any other app, I'd pay once. It's not like the content changes. I've deleted it and found the same content elsewhere for a much better price.
My Diocese (Quincy, ACNA) uses Common Worship and its lectionary. I use this app for every service I plan. My only suggestion would be to provide for other translations. Most of us use ESV. The Rev. Cn. Eric T. Raskopf
There is a review that isn't sure what bible version is included. As this is an official Church of England app it is using their official version of the bible, the NRSV. If you buy a subscription it clearly states that the version is NRSV.
This app is frustrating to try to use mostly because it doesn't admit which version it follows. Double checking other sources defeats the purpose. Why not provide that info right up front ? My guess is it is the Episcopal version. The 'title'/name adds to the confusion.
