This is the only Gin Rummy game I have found that can beat me. I love it!!!! Finally a challenging game to play. My only beef is that I can't connect via Facebook. The link doesn't work. But otherwise a fabulous game! This game needs an update for M1 Macs and Monterey. It constantly crashes and is getting very annoying. Upsetting b/c this is the best Gin Rummy game out there.
to keep my win percentage high suddenly the AI begins to have numerous consecutive wins which in turn lowers MY win record drastically. When I try to play online the game always says no players found. I bought this game to play with other players or to play alone. Now I can only play with AI. Plus...I can't win enough coin to unlock or buy into a different level. I've been playing this since pandemic began and that has been almost a year ago and I have made little progress. It's not hard to get a defeatist attitude from playing a game that feels "rigged." UNLIKE THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION THAT WAS FAIR AND WASN'T RIGGED!!!!!
This may be one of the best Gin Rummy computer game I've played, but it definitely does not appear to be random. The computer seems to know what you need because that's what it ALWAYS discards when going out or going Gin. If I win a few games, suddenly, the omputer has gin (or big gin) repeatedly for several consecutive hands. Somehow, that seems rigged. It happens too often to be coincidental. Too bad. Update: I'm so tired of this 'm deleting it!
I enjoy the game. It can be challenging. But as others have mentioned, there are too many times when (in the advanced levels), your computer opponent discards the exact card you needed one turn too late. It happens so often that it feels like the game is rigged. Does the game actually track your cards in order to be competitve instead of employing sophisticated player logic? Only the developer knows.
I found the game to be a very helpful introduction. One feature is the choice of difficulty, which allowa the beginner to start at an appropriate level. As one progresses, it is natural to choose a more advanced level. I continue to find it interesting and challenging.
