Tapas – Comics and Novels for Android

tapas is an amazing app and i used to love it. but now every time i try to get free ink by completing offers i don’t get anything. it’s only the offers of 7-20 ink that i get and nothing else. i tried everything but nothing works i’m giving out my info and i’m not getting anything i. return? it’s frustrating and i would appreciate if you could fix this issue and give me the ink that i gave out my personal info for. thank you

The content is amazing but be ready to be annoyed by the app now and than. Sometimes it will just randomly jump to the next comic or scroll back up to the top or bottom really fast losing your place :/

So when I first downloaded this app the fortune cookie worked great. One click and the cookie came right up. Now I have to click on the “get” button multiple times and sometimes I still can’t get the cookie points. It’s very frustrating. I don’t know what happened to the app. I have two hours to get the points and I’ve deleted the app re-downloaded it. Looked for updates. If anyone has any clues. Please tell me.

While the content is enjoyable the user experience of this app has been immensely frustrating. Most if not all of the in app pop ups lead to dead ends with no clear and obvious way to navigate back to the original page a user has been on. Every time I try to engage with any of the weekly campaigns, I’ll get stuck on the pop up unable to return to the chapter I was reading forcing me to close the app, reopen it, and try to find the chapter I was on. This experience has definitely prohibited me from fully enjoying the app.

I'd GLADLY rate this app higher if it didn't have such regular issues with it freezing up! There are SO VERY MANY things to absolutely LOVE about this app! Sure, like all apps, there are both pros and cons to it but I strongly believe that (for the most part) the pros outweigh the cons...or, at least, they WOULD if the app itself didn't have such issues causing it to consistently freeze up and shut down which makes the most important pro (which I'll put a "*" next to in my pros list {since there are actually 2 pro's that make this a great app, I'll put 2 "*" next to the reason why I would rate this 5 star's if it wasn't for the shut down/connectivity issues}) almost useless! As I just mentioned, I'll list the pros and cons below, starting with the cons and I'll put a "*" next to what I feel is the best and worst: CONS: ~*Regardless of your WiFi or Data connectivity the app has times where it will simply freeze up and shut down and/or simply fail to sign in to your user...it will literally NOT connect to the tapas server AT ALL despite the fact that both my Android 11 AND the app are completely up to date and I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if that would help...it seems to be a server issue!* ~While you can unlock new episodes for ink, too many episodes cost 300 ink per episode and too few comics are available under the "Wait Until Free" category ~I don't like how quickly titles are taken OFF of the "Wait Until Free" category and I don't like how the titles on that category have such a WIDE range of available episodes...some allow all but the last 2 episodes, some all but the last 6, 8, 30, and EVEN 300?!? PROS: ~*You can earn 10 ink per ad you watch and you can watch 30 ads PER HOUR every single day!!!* ~Every Monday you are given a "Fortune Cookie" with free ink ~Every Saturday you are given free episode tickets that do not expire so...even if you are COMPLETELY up-to-date with whichever comic the ticket is for...accept the ticket/tickets (sometimes it's for 3 episodes)! ~Sometimes, like now, they run promo's where you can get a free "Fortune Cookie" daily for extra free ink on top of the Monday and hourly!!! ~They have ink sales on a fairly regular basis for, in my opinion, a fairly decent price...although I'm not going to be able to buy anything I did want to mention it as a pro since I consider the sale price as pro compared to the regular price and I consider the fact that they have the sales fairy often another pro of the app. ~**You can/use your ink for things like"Weekly Missions" or "Events" and even earn ink by using ink that you have earned! LOL!!!!** As I said, that LAST one would be reason enough to give it 5 Stars if it wasn't for the connectivity issues!
