I don't need tips on how to write a great review. I do however, need an app which I paid for to work. The app on my Android could not find my Android. I've emailed the FileXChange support services; but they have yet to respond.
The app fails to display many of the files that have been transferred to the Android in the display window on the phone so you cannot use the file because you cannot find it. If you connnect via Bluetooth, the file appears on the connected computer as being there but the device fails to see it. Occasionally files randomly appear in your list and then disappear at other times. When transferring larger video files the transfer goes for a time and then displays the message that the remote device timed out thereby losing the transfer. It seems impossible to transfer anything over 700 megs. Device does not operate in the background so if you are transferring a large file that takes some time and either a call or a message comes in during the transfer if you look at the message or take the call you lose the transfer and you have to start all over again. In the middle of transfers the app allows the phone to go to sleep therby halting your transfer and therefore you need to begin all over again. You cannot view the files transferred from anywhere except within the application itself. Which means that there is no option to transfer the file to your video folder or your camera roll in the phone itself or to any other file app on the phone.
