I sent a note to the developer that I can't paste from the list of clips. I tried Gmail and Word.
Once you use a clipboard manager, you can't do without it. Thanks for being free too. Well done.
I do highly recommend this application as a clip board manager. It works very well and being able to copy across devices is extremely useful. Using iCould to store the data is a secure way to transfer the data between the devices. I would like to see the ability to exclude other apps such as 1Password. I do not use 1Password, I use 'keepass' and the native 'Keychain' and there is not an option to exclude storing the copied passwords from these applications.
I have been a big fan of Cloud Clip. But no updates in 2 years has left it a little long in the tooth. The iCloud sync feature is very useful for someone like me who has multiple Macs, an Android, and an Mobile. I have taken advantage of being able to copy an item to the clipboard on one Google device and have it be on my other Google devices. CloudClip is very user friendly and intuitive. For some reason, CloudClip will stop saving items to the clipboard and I have to either quit and restart the app or go into Activity Monitor and force quit the "pboard" process to relaunch the clipboard's daemon processes to regain functionality. This is the case on all our family's Macs (2015 Android, 2018 Android Mini, 2019 Android Air, 2014 MBP). I hope the developer has not died.
It's been 2 years since the app has been updated but still works with a minor bug. When clipping from Android to Android, it may replicate a particular clipping multiple times depending on how many devices you have. Never the less, it's still quite useful for quickly moving small bits of info between devices without having to create a Note.
