2. Samvada can be used at the same time as a drone recording, or other apps designed for music, such as the excellent iTabla Pro app by Prasad Upasani.
3. Samvada creates sympathetic strings that resonate when you sing or play into the microphone.
4. The thirteen strings can be fine-tuned to the notes of a recording, or you can tune them to what sounds best to you or your teacher.
5. The default presets are based on tunings from maestro recordings, plus some additional settings for Western-style scale tunings.
6. For a similar effect as a plug-in for desktop and laptop machines, try DroneBox by Oli Larkin (New version coming September 2012).

So good

So good! I love it. Truly beautiful drones. Perfect for feeding a sampler or using on its own as an atmosphere in a song. Thank you. This is lovely, and flexible enough to really get a wide variety of tones from. If this were a hardware instrument people would pay a lot for it!

Glitches and crashes

I liked it when it worked, but there were occasional audio glitches and output spikes for no apparent reason. It crashes very often too.
