Older model iPads.. go to settings select general, scroll down to: use side switch select lock rotation which will uncheck mute..only thing would be when you want to rotate screen or pictures you’ll have to change the settings back.. For newer iPads swipe down from the top right corner of your Mobile diagonal to bring up your control center and unmute the bell(ringer) Hope this helps everyone...
