Monosnap for Android

It's the most convenient screenshot and annotation tool that i've used. But it uses way too much memory even after I close the image. I sometimes have to restart the app to free up resources. It needs some memory usage optimisation.

Update 4/5/2022: Still slow, still locks up and has to be Force Quit. This has been the same for a $4,000 Android and now a new generation M1 Pro Android. I'm actively shopping for a new tool for screenshots. As a long time Greenshot user on Windows, I knew I needed to find a great alternative for Android. I stumbled upon Monosnap and it checked every box I needed. However, over the past 6 months, it seems they're more focused on subscriptions and their App has become ridiculousy slow, to the point where it takes 5 seconds for a screenshot to pop-up. This delay has made it nearly unusable and I am already looking into alternative screenshot Apps or software.

I have been a Monosnap user for over 6 years now. I though monosnap was falling behind loom, biut for some time no monosnap is doing a great job of catching up and am very happy with the direction. Excited about thier future updates. I also respect that they did not abandon the early adopter.

Does what it claims, and I've happily used it for years (and yes, it's high enough quality that if you need it then it's worth paying some $$$ for). It's unobtrusive, allows for fast screenshots (and annotation of screenshots!), video recording, with nice configuration and integration options. I doubt Google will ever create a replacement that does all of what Monosnap does -- their products follow the 80/20 principle. This app gets the rest done.

This used to be a great tool but over the last few years it's gone down hill... now it's slow, buggy, and everything in between.
