I wish that the Baby Sleep Timer would talk to the Baby Feeding app so that you can see at a glance all of the information together. I also wish that the Baby Sleep Timer had more intuitive tracking. Having a place to put in when you put your baby down compared to when they actually fell asleep and even standard check boxes for what you did to put them down so that you can go back and see what was working and what wasn’t. In general more statistics and information input would be nice. The night tracking is alright once you get it calibrated, but in the morning when you need to use your phone and don’t want the record option, switching to daytime is the only option to turn it off and that starts a new timer. Annoyed that I paid for both apps and it seems like they are both lacking for how much they cost.
Extremely helpful!!
I use the nursing app and it’s AMAZING. It has so much potential. It’s just not as easy to use when I am putting my baby down. Bathe start stop function is awesome as it’s big, but I cannot use it with my watch and with my other kids I often forget to turn it off so it doesn’t log it perfectly. I use the nursing app for naps as well but love the specificity this offers. I just haven’t found a great way to use them both conveniently. So I cannot decide. But I am trying to transition over to this one because I think it tracks better. I need to log this babies sleep because he needs more help to sleep and will wake easily. So he is often tired. He definitely needs sleep training. My other babies just slept-so I knew they were getting the necessary sleep.
It’s easy to use and helps me keep track of how long it’s actually been since my baby last slept. I like the large buttons.
I never pay for apps, but I broke that rule for this app and their companion feed timer. Both are totally worth it. This one gives you a really analytical way to track and steer sleeping habits. Now my little one is napping on a much more regular basis. It helps a lot at night, too. If this app had relaxing sounds it would be the full sleep set lol.
