I like the concept of this site and app. However, the execution of the app is a problem. I use an iPhone13 pro max. The app is slow to open. Requires that you go immediately to a settings change before you can get to a function screen on the app. It is just too slow and too much to get any information screen in a normal app amount of time. I deleted the app! Time to move on.
Recently I’ve watched/listened to a few Social flight YouTube videos and have been enjoying them. The social flight community sounded like it could be fun so I downloaded the app to see what was occurring in my area. Toggling between tabs takes a long time to load, to the point I found the app unusable.
This app is aggravating buggy, and unusable. Needs significant work. Until they fix it, I suggest you use the website.
Seems like this app was designed with the Android 4 in mind. Needs a major UI update along with processing updates. Crashes when I try to add events.
Each time I open the newest version of the app, I'm forced to go to "settings" on my Mobile first. The app wants me to turn on notifications. I don't want that. Also, it seems that more and more links to event information do not work. Whether or not Social Flight is to blame, it diminishes the experience of using the app.
