Great app, the map function helps me plan day trips and vacations. The app doesn’t constantly send notifications like other beer apps. Genuinely great app
Probably a 3.5 - 4 star app. Pretty good app for what is clearly crowd sourced. But it takes FOREVER for new breweries to get added or edited with correct info. We are talking weeks. They could do better with that. Also, if you’re planning a brewery tour, search google maps for breweries near whatever area you’re in. We find a lot that aren’t on the app yet. And while we try to add them - see my initial criticism.
Basically met everything I wanted in a brewery finding app. There’s not one brewery I know of in my state that they don’t have on here. They also were very quick to remove a place I suggested wasn’t a brewery from the app (it was a Miller bottling plant..), glad to see the devs or whoever still pay attention to this app. Just wish more people used it. I’ve been the first to review about 10 different breweries in Ohio lol, tough to get recommendations on breweries when not many people are reviewing 😅
Liked this app but it seems to have lost some functionality. The pins so how new breweries to the user not yet visited (orange) and those that a user visits and rates (Green pin). It has stopped converting the pin color from orange to green when rating. That’s sort of the point for me; to recall places by name and location when traveling back to a city for work or fun. Gonna have to shop for another app. :-(
This is one of the better brewery apps I have found. My only complaint is that once you hit the “visited” button you can not go in and edit the date you were there. Knowing when I visited each brewery is important to me but unless I check it off that day I can’t go back later and edit it.
