Relax Fan for Android

I am a high maintenance sleeper and need the sound of a fan to relax and fall asleep. This app has been a great option to use when I’m traveling or if my real fan starts acting up. I only select the fan that sounds the most like white noise, so I guess could also just use a white noise app…but the fans are more fun :)

I have tinnitus and need constant background noise to drown out the ringing. I’m also one of those people who can’t sleep without a fan. Bringing a fan on vacation is not always feasible but this app does the trick. I’ve recently learned about the difference between white, pink, & brown noise. I’m hoping they add a fan in the future for brown noise, but even if they don’t, I’ll keep using it.

I’ve always slept with a fan on for the white noise because I’m a light sleeper and insomniac, and if I wake up it’s hard to get back to sleep. I was traveling and didn’t even think to bring a small fan for the hotel and joked about there being an app for that. I like this app especially for those times. It has many options for what people might be used to hearing and has saved me from many restless nights.

When I was first married, 33 years ago, my wife slept with a fan to drown out noise. I quickly got used to the comfort that this gave us. Now as we travel we have come to depend this app to replicate the fan we have at home. This has given us many a good night sleep on the road
